How to look better on video calls
Better calls come down to camera height, lighting, and framing. A clip-on webcam and a little front light beat a laptop camera easily.
Get the camera to eye level
Clip a webcam to the top of your monitor so you're looking across, not down, at the lens.
Light your face
Front light (a monitor bar or window) beats being backlit by a bright window behind you.
